Ever since I read The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher, I have dreamt of visiting this place.  A natural anglophile since I was a child, it’s not all that surprising… I read every book by James Herriot, as well, and because of it, still dream of the Yorkshire Dales.

But this place – somehow, it just feels like a place I’ve already been, and a place I need to return to.  Makes me wonder if, once I finally get there – will it feel that same way??

I just find it to be the most beautiful place, and love looking at pictures of the coast, the cottages, the ocean… one day, I will find myself there – until then, more pictures and more plans and more dreaming!!
